Network refresh for a global industrial manufacturing factory. Label (384) existing patch cables scheduled for demolition and inventory their corresponding patch panel ports. Clear a pathway for removing the existing Cisco core switches in the MDF by removing 150 lbs of tangled and cluttered network and analog phone cabling from network racks. Deinstall old switches in MDF and (5) IDF closets. Install new switches in MDF and (5) IDF closets. Clean and test the existing 62.5 MIC MM OM1 fiber optic backbone cabling. Uplink the new IDF switches to the new MDF core switches using the existing fiber optic cabling. Install new cable management products and (384) CAT6 patch cables connecting the new switches to the horizontal cabling outlets. Label all cables using customer-provided nomenclature. Provide First Day of Business(FDOB) support.
